The green hanging amaranth doesn't really act as a flower - more like a movement that falls downwards. Several soft, textured green clusters descend from the end of the long, 90 cm stem, as if the plant is bending under its own weight. The flower stalks consist of tiny, densely arranged little balls, which add a natural rhythm and a subtle playfulness to the overall effect.
The stem is slender but stable, accompanied by wide green leaves that make the composition even more lively. This thread works especially well if you want to introduce a little movement and asymmetry into a composition - either on its own or in combination with other threads. The green version is softer, more restrained; in the white, the fall and shape are even more emphasized.
